Has anyone worked on the process design for 143a products? Those who have can share their experience
Liquid-phase method: Vinylidene chloride and anhydrous hydrofluoric acid react in the presence of fluorosulfonic acid and tin tetrachloride to produce 141b; to produce 143a, an appropriate amount of antimony pentachloride must be added. Vapor phase method: 142b produces 143a in the presence of antimony pentachloride and tin tetrachloride. We no longer engage in fluorine chemical production; it seems that the usage of 143a was not high in the past! Is that the current trend of development?
