Is the misting steam from the feed nozzle a mixture of dry gas and steam? How effective is it?
The pressure of dry gas is similar to that of steam, but its temperature is lower; a large amount of dry gas mixed in may affect the atomization effect. (We haven’t used it).

For the dry gas used to atomize the feed oil, it is recommended to consider its impact on the pressure in the feed oil collection pipe; the effectiveness of its use remains to be evaluated. This device uses atomized steam.
One more thing to add: when dry gas is used as the atomization medium, if liquid appears in the dry gas, it will not only fail to perform the atomization function, but over time it may also cause coking and blockage of the nozzle. Therefore, it is not recommended to switch to dry gas as the atomization medium in order to save a little steam.
