The company has a really unacceptable rule: colleagues from other provinces are given housing subsidies, while those from the same province don’t get any such support and have to rent their own accommodation. But even one province is not small – it has many cities, and we can’t go back to our hometowns either; we still have to rent a place. Since we do the same work, why do those from the same province have to pay several hundred extra dollars in rent on top of that? It’s frustrating...
Hehe, why do that? If there are subsidies to be given, then give them all without any distinction based on location. But you understand, right? People who come from thousands of miles away deserve some compensation, right?
Explain the situation; the company may have rules regarding this issue
