Our company often produces some custom samples, and now we want to charge a fee for them, but we’re not sure about the price. For example, how much does it cost to test properties such as acid value, viscosity, flash point, and boiling range once?

At market price, it can be charged per analysis item at 150–220 yuan per item; it can also be priced based on samples, with a set of 5 items costing 600–800 yuan, and additional fees for 7 or 9 items. Of course, if it’s a client with whom you have a good relationship, you can charge a symbolic 150 as a token amount. For example: when an oil sample arrives, it is necessary to conduct tests for flash point, viscosity, moisture, acid value, and mechanical impurities – these five standard tests. The fee is calculated based on the number of tests, with a 20% discount applied to the cost per sample.
