In dry desulfurization and wet desulfurization, there is the concept of sulfur capacity. What is the definition of this concept, and how is it calculated? Also, are there any books that specifically cover the desulfurization process of coke oven gas? If so, please recommend them.
1. Sulfur capacity refers to the amount of sulfur that can be absorbed by every 100 kilograms of desulfurizing agent under conditions that meet the desulfurization requirements. It is an important indicator for evaluating desulfurizing agents, and is generally expressed as a percentage. The total sulfur capacity% = V*(V1-V2)/G*100%, where V represents the total volume of raw material processed in NM3, V1 and V2 represent the sulfur content at the inlet and outlet respectively in mg/Nm3, and G represents the volume of desulfurizing agent used in m3. 2. Saturation sulfur capacity refers to the maximum amount of sulfur that can be absorbed per unit volume of desulfurizing agent
