How effective are cooling adhesives for insulating and protecting liquefied gas cylinders from sunlight? Are there any other methods?
Spherical tanks are generally equipped with spherical tank spray systems (fire-fighting and cooling spray protection systems for such tanks). These systems can be activated in summer; the cooling water sprayed by the nozzles in these systems removes the excess heat from the tank walls, thereby serving to protect them from sunlight and maintain their cool temperature. Another application is in sun protection coatings.
