I am considering investing in an ammonia plant with an annual production capacity of 3,000–5,000 tons. What is the approximate investment cost? What are the main processes and equipment involved? Is liquid ammonia the primary raw material? Is liquid ammonia easy to obtain? Which types of manufacturers produce them mainly? I’d appreciate it if an expert could help me; thank you so much!
The main raw material for constructing an ammonia water plant is liquid ammonia, and the process is quite simple: a heater is used to evaporate the liquid ammonia into gaseous ammonia, which is then absorbed by deionized water using absorption methods, thereby producing ammonia water； The equipment includes: heat exchangers (heaters), high-level ammonia absorbers, coolers, ammonia pumps, circulation pumps, liquid ammonia storage tanks, ammonia water storage tanks, etc ； Investing is unclear because I have never done it before. Actually, the original poster might as well buy ammonia; most factories produce ammonia as a by-product these days.

We have everything of that kind; we just don’t know if it’s convenient to transport it. It is not cost-effective if the two locations are far apart.
