What is the working principle of an air filtering pressure reducing valve?
Working principle of the air pressure reducing valve: The high-pressure chamber of the air pressure reducing valve is connected to the high-pressure air source, while the low-pressure chamber serves as the gas outlet, leading to the system where it is used. The reading on the pressure gauge indicates the pressure of the air at the high-pressure side. The outlet pressure of the low-pressure gauge can be controlled by the adjustment screw. When in use, first turn on the gas inlet switch at the high-pressure side, then rotate the low-pressure gauge pressure adjustment screw clockwise, which compresses the main spring and drives the diaphragm, spring washer, and push rod to open the valve. In this way, the imported high-pressure gas enters the low-pressure chamber after being throttled and depressurized in the high-pressure chamber, and then reaches the working system via the outlet. Turn the adjustment screw to change the opening height of the valve, thereby regulating the amount of high-pressure gas that passes through and achieving the desired pressure level. It will shut off automatically when the outlet pressure reaches the set value. A filter is installed on the high-pressure side of the inlet to prevent dirt from damaging the pressure reducing valve and causing overpressure on the low-pressure side.
