Dear experts: I have a question regarding the course \"Chemical Reaction Processes and Equipment\". How should it be taught to better meet the needs of higher vocational education and to make students more interested in this subject? This course mainly deals with the selection of equipment and the optimization of its operation, as well as equipment design. Although the content is important, the textbook’s presentation is rather complicated and dull, consisting mainly of calculations and textual descriptions. I would like to ask what level this course covers in higher vocational education, and what its focus is. Thank you, looking forward to everyone’s replies.
This course is quite abstract and complex; it’s difficult to teach either to junior college students or undergraduates. My personal advice is that if you want to make the lessons interesting, you need to have an understanding of the chemical production process. Many of today’s teachers have no experience in actual production, so what they teach is rather dry and uninteresting – it’s better to study it on your own
We first went to the factory for a field trip, and then the teacher started teaching the course; the results were very good.
I miss my college days. I basically just slept through this course; I studied on my own during the late self-study time after class. Bring in a few mature manufacturers with design and R&D capabilities; they know best. Also, go and take a look inside the device. It’s a place full of hidden talents.
