One of the reaction kettles in my factory is equipped with an inverter that increases the frequency from a low level to the normal level; once the normal frequency is reached, it automatically switches to a fixed frequency. The problem now is that it cannot switch to the fixed-frequency state when frequency conversion is done to the normal frequency. (We use an inverter to achieve a gradual acceleration; once normal operation is reached, we switch to a fixed frequency.) Could anyone please answer my question? Thank you! !

What is the normal frequency, and what is the fixed frequency? Does the inverter stop working once it is switched to the fixed frequency?

The inverter mentioned by the poster is actually being used as a soft starter. Both the normal frequency and the fixed frequency estimation are 50Hz, right? It seems that the owner’s “variable frequency/normal frequency” switch hasn’t been changed. Guessed!
