Due to errors in the machining of the RTJ sealing groove, the octagonal sealing ring cannot be fully inserted into the groove; therefore, internal and external metal wound gaskets are being used as a substitute (treating the RTJ flange as an RF flange). This approach meets the following requirements: 1. It ensures that the effective sealing width of the standard wound gasket remains within the inner edge of the groove, so that the effective sealing surface can be completely contained within the area defined by the flange protrusions. 2. Meet the pressure rating requirement of PN10.0. 3. The roughness of the RTJ protrusion meets the RF requirement of grade 6.3. What about the medium temperature? Doing this is quite bold. Was it an idea from the designer? Was it still the pump manufacturer who came up with the idea? What to do if there is a fire leaking outside?
Is there an RTJ version for the PN10.0 pressure class? I remember the lowest one is PN20, right?
