I have been working in planning and management at Sinopec’s construction units for over 5 years; it’s a tough job with no holidays, and I am considering changing jobs. I have received a job offer from Shanghai Chemical Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd., but I don’t know much about this company. If anyone is familiar with it, please give me some advice. Thank you in advance.
The best chemical engineering design institute in Shanghai. I graduated with a master’s degree this year and would like to exchange messages. QQ: 741719384
This is a design institute under Shanghai Huayi Group; the basic benefits at design institutes are more or less similar, and what really matters is one’s own abilities and the projects they work on.
I heard that the Shanghai branch is pretty good. Putting aside the benefits for now, just talking about the work will allow you to understand what a large company’s system and goals are like.
. . . . Sinopec seems to be larger, right?
It’s better to go to the several institutes under the Ministry of Chemical Industry for design work
Yes, I also work for a subsidiary of Sinopec now, but we are a construction company, and our income as well as other benefits are not good
The construction company? You can try working as a project manager for large engineering companies
I’m not sure about the construction companies, but I know that job salaries for construction management are high, and so are those for procurement roles. I suggest you spend a few more years working at a construction company before moving to another one to take on a construction management position
I have been involved in project planning for 6 years now, and I no longer want to work as part of the construction team. Shanghai Chemical Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. has sent me a job offer, but I’m not sure what kind of company it is
It was agreed that the travel expenses would be reimbursed; just come and talk about it, and you’ll know~ If you feel good, that’s what matters; even in the best companies, there are people who don’t like things...
