A beginner’s guide to piping design learning*

I would like to learn *pipe fitting; where should I start and what are the steps to learn it? It would be best to recommend a few easy-to-understand introductory books. Thank you very much.

Personally, I think it’s important to be able to understand PID and operate the software; as for various standards and regulations, those are mainly mastered through actual practice!
There is a section dedicated to piping in the Chemical Process Design Manual; you might want to take a look
1. After drawing for some time and gaining a general understanding of piping, studying the drawings created by seniors was very rewarding. 2. Summarize the mistakes made by others and by oneself more often; the right things are generally similar, but the mistakes come in all sorts of forms. 3. Problems need to be resolved on-site. Drawings can be precise to N decimal places, yet the construction errors on site are astonishing; nevertheless, such errors are also factors that must be taken into account during design. 4. Design from the perspective of construction workers and operators; the resulting drawings are meant to guide construction and ultimately become the actual device, not something for display on a wall. 5. Do everything possible to acquire knowledge from all relevant fields. In a word, theoretical knowledge is indeed important, but one must avoid becoming dogmatic when learning it.
Look at more examples created by those who are more experienced, think in terms of space, and follow the standard requirements outlined in the piping diagrams; trying a few examples will yield significant benefits. The latest HG/T 20519-2009 provides detailed instructions on how to draw piping diagrams and includes legends; go and take a look.
