How do I enter the scale in CAD? For example, when drawing piping diagrams, the pipes in reality are several dozen meters long, and I want to draw them at a scale of 1:100. Where should I enter this value? Please advise! Thank you!
Just draw it directly in millimeters. The ratio is set in the page setup manager when printing the image
1:1 scale drawing, unit: millimeters. It’s a frame; the scale of the frame determines the proportion, as long as the important images can fit within it. Since the frame remains fixed, a document printed on A1 paper will still be of A1 size and won’t change. I’m using this method; I don’t know how to do other types of layouts, so I’m waiting for someone more experienced to provide further guidance.
