If methanol is detected in the condensate of the distillation steam, does that indicate that the reboiler is leaking?

If there is internal leakage, it is more likely to occur in the pressure tower. Different units use different steam pressures; the presence of methanol in the condensate indicates a leak in the reboiler. Find time to fix the leak by taking advantage of the downtime! !

Reply to 1# Wu Rong: Regarding the reboiler of that tower, if the pressure of the low-pressure steam is higher than the pressure at the bottom of the tower, it might be a problem with the quality of that low-pressure steam.
