Is continuing education required in engineer evaluations?

As the title says. When applying for the evaluation as an intermediate engineer, one of the documents required is a \"continuing education certificate\"; when submitting an application online, information such as the institution from which the second major was completed also needs to be provided. Is this continuing education mandatory? What are the specific requirements? What are the requirements for publishing papers? Is it required to be highly related to the current job? What are the requirements regarding the level of the journal in which it is to be published? Waiting patiently for advice from experienced experts
