What does this package mean?

One of the subheadings reads: “Special requirement for cold weather package.” Additionally, the term “Hydraulic oil type for cold weather package” is also used in the Design specifications, and it relates to the oil cooler. I’m not sure if the context I provided is sufficient.
I don’t think it’s necessary to pay too much attention to it. Special requirements under cold operating conditions. BTW: I’ve worked on oil coolers before; it’s quite interesting. Hehe.

I have another question: The strength calculation should be carried out at -40°C (for survival conditions) and -30°C (for operational conditions), with the design loads to be determined by the Customer. What does \"survival\" refer to in this context? Is there any more professional term for it?

Survival on the 3rd floor refers to this state: under extreme conditions imposed on it (in this case, temperature), the basic functions of the instruments can still operate, but the auxiliary functions may be affected or have already stopped working. Transmitters with a two-wire system can still output measurement signals at extreme temperatures, but the LCD display on site can no longer function properly ； Another example is the pH meter: when the temperature rises above the upper limit of the normal operating range for the electrodes, it is still possible to measure the pH value, but the temperature measurement function of the pH meter ceases to work, and temperature compensation for the pH value can no longer be performed accurately. It may be referred to as the operating temperature limit in some documents.
