During the distillation and alkali washing process, can alkali be vaporized through the gas line? In the case of alkali processing, only esters can be removed; what about rust if acid cleaning isn’t used?

Before starting up the distillation process, the pipes and distillation tower need to be purged and pressure-tested, followed by the installation of the tower components. After that, cleaning (acid washing to remove rust) is carried out, and finally nitrogen sealing is applied. Adding and removing substances after driving is done to eliminate certain esters and acids.
Alkali washing is usually caused by excessive operating time, with waxy substances accumulating on the trays or packing; should hot alkali be used for cleaning?
