The pH value of the soft water supplied was within acceptable limits, but after some time of operation, an increase in the pH value of the hot water was detected; it has now risen above 9. This may be related to the water treatment agent added. Some water treatment agents, particularly organic carboxylates, may become alkaline during degradation. Additionally, to prevent corrosion, the pH value of water quality is also kept slightly alkaline.
You might try an experiment: heat a cup of pure water, and its pH will also be alkaline. It may be because the increase in temperature leads to an increased degree of ionization of water. It’s also a guess.

The added pure water still contains trace amounts of salts, such as impurity ions like calcium and magnesium ; As the water evaporates, the impurity ions remain, leading to concentration; once this reaches a certain level, the water containing calcium and magnesium ion salts becomes alkaline.
