Honeywell external ultrasonic flow meter

There is an external ultrasonic flow meter for measuring water, made by Honeywell. It was installed and used normally for some time, but recently the gauge displayed “-220 m³/h”, while the computer terminal showed a positive value of “225 m³/h” – the reason for this is unknown. Additionally: Does an external clamp-type ultrasonic flow meter measure the flow direction or not?
1. There is a time difference; the quantity must change, right? 2. Are there different correction factors at play?
So HONYWELL also has ultrasonic flowmeters? Krohne is used everywhere in the company. . What E+H offers now is also of the external clamping type; although its price and accuracy (0.3%, as stated in the manual) are good, I haven’t used it yet and am a bit hesitant to use it. .
Reply 3# drop: The ultrasonic flow meter has some issues when in use, and its reliability is not high for control purposes.
