Are domestic sulfur-nitrogen analyzers of satisfactory quality? Which manufacturers produce the best ones? Foreign ones are too expensive, and their operation and maintenance costs are also high! Please recommend some
Analyze the sulfur and nitrogen content in benzene products ranging from 0.05 to 10,000 ppm
As for domestic nitrogen-sulfur analyzers, the only ones I’m aware of are those produced by a few companies in Jiangyan, Jiangsu; they’re more or less similar to each other. Please provide information on those made in other regions. According to them, their sensing elements and filters are also imported. What concerns me are stability and consistency issues. The quality control for domestic products is not good, but there are many domestic products in use around us; I’m not aware of how they perform in practice. Also, what does the poster mean by high costs of use and maintenance for imported products? Are they referring to the costs of use or those of maintenance? Is the quality of foreign products poor and do they break down frequently? ? Actually, I’m also considering importing a sulfur-nitrogen analyzer

Again, each company should act according to its own actual capabilities and production conditions. It is an undeniable fact that the maintenance and operation costs of analytical equipment imported from abroad are high. If there is a problem with Agilent’s chromatography equipment, the company has to bear all the costs from the time their after-sales engineers leave until the problem is resolved. However, imported equipment does not break down so easily, and its data reliability and consistency are also trustworthy. Most problems arise from improper operation or misuse; as long as operations are carried out strictly in accordance with the guidelines, no issues should occur for a while. And if a problem does arise, as mentioned earlier, just leave it to the experts to handle it! In fact, all analyzed data are not the true values but approximations of them; there’s no need to strive for absolute accuracy. As long as there is a scale that allows one to observe changes in the data, and both parties agree on it, that’s sufficient. What is required for analysis in product control systems is simply data that reflects stable device operation, with good data stability that can indicate any changes. From this perspective, domestic equipment is more than capable!
Reply to 6# chenhaidong5758: What you say makes perfect sense. I’m worried that the results for the same sample might differ significantly if it’s tested today versus tomorrow. Moreover, when using a nitrogen-sulfur analyzer to analyze sulfur, a standard curve is required, and this curve should not change from one sample to another. I’m concerned about the stability of the instrument; as long as it remains consistent, that’s fine. Production units need not pursue any kind of accuracy. I’m concerned about two things: stability and failure rate
When it comes to assessing the quality of raw materials entering the factory, what’s the use if it is only stable but not accurate?
