As the title suggests: Who knows which manufacturers in China are good at producing reciprocating compressors? Who is more famous abroad? Thank you!
Domestic compressor manufacturers include: Shenyang Blower Factory, Shanghai Compressor Factory, Shenyang Yuanda, Wuxi Compressor Factory, Sichuan Dachuan, Jianghan Three Machinery Factory, etc., in no particular order. Foreign manufacturers: Ariel, Drayson, Cooper, GE, etc.

Our company uses Shengyu pumps, and the after-sales service is excellent; the technicians who come for maintenance are very responsible and explain things to us in great detail
I have been to Wuxi Compressor Co., Ltd.; the factory is quite large, equipped with advanced machinery, has standardized management, and boasts a strong technical capability! As mentioned on the second floor, Beijing Jingcheng Environmental Protection is also good. .
The chillers in Wuxi are of better quality, featuring screw compressors. In terms of centrifuges, Shenmu’s products are fairly good in China, but they are far behind those of Nippon Sharyo and Siemens. Burkhard’s reciprocating compressors are quite satisfactory
Reciprocating compressors made by Shengyu Group are still the best; those from Granda are not so good – there are many problems when they first start operating, but their performance improves over time.

The products from Wuxi are not good, especially the accessories. I’ve used those from Shenhua Steam Turbine, Weifang Shengjian, Wuxi, Shanghai, and Sichuan – among them, Shenhua Steam Turbine is the best; the quality of Shengjian’s products is particularly poor.
The more advanced models are still concentrated in the Shenyang area. Our company has previously used reciprocating compressors made by Shenqi (which is now known as Shengyu), Shenyang Yuanda, and Wuxi Compressor Factory; nowadays, we purchase reciprocating compressors from Shenqi exclusively. Although there is no fierce price-cutting competition among two or three parties to win the bid, which would increase the investment cost to some extent, it is still worthwhile from the perspective of long-term operating costs.
