Since the gasification furnace is about 100 meters tall, the electric heating wires used on site often fail to provide heat in the middle. In winter, several watches always get damaged due to the cold. Do anyone have any good tips? We have also taken many measures: 1. Increase the thickness of the electric heating element. 2. Add a layer of aluminum sheet outside the semi-hot part. 3. The main instruments are equipped with two and a half heat wires. 4. When the system is shut down, open all the plug plugs inside the instrument. Is the temperature sufficient? Electric heating tapes of different colors control different temperatures; red ones have the highest temperature, around 140 degrees. It’s best to cover them with iron sheet or rock wool insulation
Using electric heating tapes with high power makes electric heating a better option than steam heating; wrapping them in more layers should help as well. As for the issue of insufficient temperature in the middle area you mentioned, the temperature should be the same everywhere, right?
Using steam for semi-heating yields much better results than electric heating; after semi-heating, insulation is also necessary
