I would like to ask what the criteria are for replacing the desulfurization agent ZnO in ammonia synthesis systems; it seems that there isn’t consistency regarding the requirements for replacement, so let’s discuss this together.
Is it because the original poster didn’t clarify the question, or is there some other issue? If there’s no such problem, is it still necessary to discuss it? It should be determined based on the H2S content at the outlet of the desulfurization unit, the process parameters, and production requirements.

Based on the sulfur content levels at the inlet and outlet of the zinc oxide desulfurization tank as well as its service life, the key factor is to determine whether the zinc oxide currently in use can meet the requirements of your production process. If it can meet those requirements, then there is no need to replace it; otherwise, it must be replaced.
