With increasingly strict emission standards, along with the requirements regarding COD for wastewater at the end of its treatment process, I would like to ask what exactly is the standard for the methanol content in the residual liquid discharged from methanol distillation? Also, which companies are performing well at the moment, and what is their methanol emission level, so that everyone can learn from them and improve!
Primary standard: 10mg/L; Secondary standard: 20mg/L
What are the emission standards for discarded industrial methanol? How much water needs to be added to it before it can be discharged? Which specific standard document is to be followed? What other treatment methods are there besides discharging it diluted with water?
In fact, the emission standards apply not only to methanol; it is sufficient as long as the total COD level in the discharged wastewater does not exceed 60 mg/L. Previously, the standard was 80 mg/L
