A boiler is a device that uses the heat generated by burning combustible materials to heat the water inside it into steam. This steam, at a certain pressure, is then used in a heat exchange unit to heat the water used for heating purposes. The condensed vapor returns to the boiler to be reheated and reused in this cycle.
It’s the same principle as boiling water: lol There is a lot of coal on the grate below the boiler, and the heat released by their combustion is transferred to the water inside the boiler through convection and radiation, via the boiler’s metal walls; as a result, the water gets hot or boils. . . . . . :lol
