For conventional processes, it is better to keep the temperature difference between the acid at the inlet and outlet of the tower below 32 degrees
The acid temperature at the inlet and outlet of the absorption tower, as well as the temperature of the flue gas at the outlet, can be used to determine whether there are leaks in the acid distribution pipes and whether the packing is contaminated. To determine whether enough acid is being used for absorption, the pump current can be checked; if possible, an electromagnetic flow meter can also be utilized.
The difference between the acid temperature at the top of the tower and the flue gas temperature at the exit of the tower should be within 5°C to be considered normal.

Reply to 1# yunsgx1983: It can be roughly estimated that the temperature difference between the acid entering and leaving the absorption tower is between 15-30 degrees, while the exit temperature of the flue gas is 6-7 degrees higher than the temperature of the acid entering the tower. Of course, other influencing factors include acid splitters, tower packing, etc. Its circulation volume mainly depends on whether its current is normal.
