What thermodynamic model is used for the simulation of nitric acid concentration towers?

As the title suggests, the tower often fails to converge when using the electrolyte model – could it be that the thermodynamic model chosen is not appropriate? Is there a better thermodynamic model for simulating nitric acid concentration towers? I would appreciate some guidance from experts, thank you!
I haven’t done any simulations, but I can give you a suggestion: first calculate the various properties using Aspen, and then compare them with your material property data; this is a simpler approach.
