Why, after I select a material, does the error check always indicate that my temperature exceeds the allowable range for that material? Yet when I check this material in the materials database, the temperature I entered is clearly within the allowed range; all the relevant data are there. It’s really confusing ? ?

As I said, the linear expansion coefficient of the material at the temperature I specified does exist; it’s just that the value given in the material database is incorrect. But even though there are various corresponding data available at this temperature, he still claims it’s outside the range; I really don’t know why.
Reply to 3# plf2830: You can try these two options: 1. Check if there are two of the new materials you added One is all codes, and the other is a certain standard you require, such as B31.3. 2. Check whether your material has values outside its ambient temperature; for example, if the ambient temperature is 21.1111 degrees Celsius, then determine whether the material has corresponding property values at 10 degrees Celsius.

The material I used is austenitic stainless steel (NO.880). In the material database, there is one code designated as all code, and another as B31.1. 2. The temperature I entered is 300, and there are values both above and below it. Hehe, thank you for writing this – it helped me realize what the mistake was. It turned out that I had used standard code B31.3, but this code isn’t available in the material database; by changing it to B31.1, I was able to pass the inspection successfully.
