Automatic means you set it to a fixed value. Cascade is based on the values changed by other variables. For example: if you set the flow rate of alkali entering the tank to 21.6 m3/h, the program will automatically control the alkali flow rate to remain within a certain range around 21.6 m3/h. This is automatic. The pressure difference between hydrogen and chlorine is controlled at 4 kPa; the hydrogen pressure changes in response to the chlorine pressure, and the control of the hydrogen pressure is achieved through cascade control.
