Do pneumatic cut-off valves come in types that open with air and those that close with air? If so, how do we distinguish them?
Pneumatic cut-off valves come in air-open and air-close types. As follows: FC – open on fault (single-acting cylinder or diaphragm control valve); FO – closed on fault (single-acting cylinder or diaphragm control valve); FL – hold (control valve); FI – arbitrary (usually used for control valves)
