I don’t think two months is actually that long… I was quite lucky; less than half a year after starting at the company, I was already able to work on projects under the guidance of my mentor. The instructor was extremely kind, the project was simple, and there was no rush to complete it; so he let me work on it on my own. I made rapid progress during that time. In the years that followed, I worked day and night without pause; my belly started to protrude, my eyes suffered as well, and my hair thinned out more and more. Alas, I really want to say one thing: take time to rest when you can! Of course, this is off-topic. When you first start working on design, they say to read books, but you can’t concentrate and don’t know what to read. It would be better to take a look at the drawings; if it’s about the manufacturing process, then check the PID settings used by those who worked on it before and ask yourself what each line is responsible for ； For piping, just copy what the person in front of you did; first figure out what all the elements shown in the drawings are, and also improve your CAD skills. Don’t think that your boss doesn’t know everything; if you make him see that you are diligent and reliable, you will soon get a chance. If you can seize the opportunity later on, things will go very smoothly from then on. In short, if you choose design, you need to be prepared to turn mental work into physical labor; take plenty of breaks when you have time……
