In the process of waste heat utilization, waste heat boilers are used. The steam generated by some of these boilers needs to be sent to a steam drum before being distributed elsewhere, while it is not necessary for others. What is the basis for determining whether a steam drum is required?
Reply to 1# huaandhua: The steam outputted from the drum in an outward direction serves to stabilize both pressure and flow. Whether a steam drum is included in the process flow depends on the steam requirements of the equipment that uses the steam.
The function of the bubbles is also to provide a stable and continuous source of steam, right?

Reply 1# huaandhua: Please join in as well. In the section before the steam drum, water transforms from a liquid state to a gas state. For low-parameter conditions (low pressure and low temperature), the absence of a steam drum has little impact. However, under high-parameter conditions (high pressure and high temperature), sufficient space and time are required for the phase change between gas and liquid. Typically, the pressure and temperature parameters in the area where steam is generated differ from those in the area where it is stored and used; these differences affect the amount of steam produced as well as the steam supply. Therefore, the decision not to use a steam drum is related both to steam generation and to its utilization. This is just my personal opinion, for reference only.
It should serve to stabilize the vapor pressure
