I am located in Changshou, Chongqing, where there is the largest chemical industrial park in the western region. I am planning to start a business now and am in urgent need of small to medium-sized chemical projects with an investment of less than 5 million; those that can generate quick returns would be ideal. I hope everyone can offer some suggestions! Please give us more support for college students majoring in chemical engineering who are starting their own businesses! ! ! Thank you so much! ! ! ! !
Propylene is an important basic raw material in the organic petrochemical industry, second only to ethylene. It is primarily used to produce polypropylene, phenol, propylene oxide, butanol, octanol, acrylonitrile, epichlorohydrin, acrylic acid, and isopropyl alcohol. Other applications include its use in alkylated oils, catalytic copolymerization and dimerization, as well as in the formulation of high-octane gasoline. At present, the growth rate of propylene in our country has surpassed that of ethylene, with propylene production increasing at a significant pace. In 2005, China’s total production capacity for propylene reached 8.18 million tons, with a production volume of 6.73 million tons. By 2010, China’s total production capacity for propylene was expected to reach 10.8 million tons, while the production volume was projected to be between 10.49 and 10.96 million tons. Over the past 10 years, the growth rate of demand for propylene in our country has also exceeded that of demand for ethylene, and this trend is set to continue. In 2005, China’s apparent consumption of propylene reached 7.92 million tons ; It will reach 10.49 million tons in 2010 ; The average annual growth rate of apparent consumption from 2005 to 2010 will be approximately 5.8%. Although both the production and demand for propylene in our country are on the rise, the increase in demand far exceeds that in production, resulting in a shortage of propylene in the country and a low self-sufficiency rate. As a result, China has been in a trade deficit in propylene imports and exports. In 2001, China recorded a trade deficit of 112.53 million dollars in its exports of propylene; in 2002 the deficit was 127.91 million dollars, in 2003 it was 126.63 million dollars, in 2004 it was 171.44 million dollars, and in 2005 the deficit reached 180.7 million dollars. Currently, 66% of the propylene in the world comes from ethylene production units that use hydrocarbon steam cracking, 32% comes from fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) units in refineries, and a small amount is produced through propane dehydrogenation and other olefin conversion and cracking reactions. With the FCC processes for increasing propylene production, as well as further advancements in catalyst and additive technologies, new progress has been made in techniques for boosting propylene output. Our country is a major producer of heavy oil FCC; increasing efforts in research and development related to catalysts, additives, and other technologies through the FCC process will become a key factor for boosting propylene production in the refining industry. In keeping with market trends, the successful development of the ZSMP-1 catalyst for increasing propylene production has made it possible for refineries to boost their propylene output, thereby generating substantial economic benefits for them – significant returns can be achieved with minimal investment. With the sharp increase in demand for propylene, various companies and petrochemical plants are actively developing a range of new technologies to increase propylene production or expand its supply sources. The successful development of this catalyst meets the needs of the market. The production process for this product is simple; depending on the scale of production, the equipment investment ranges from 500,000 to 2 million yuan. The main equipment includes stainless steel reactors and drying units. The raw materials required for synthesizing the product are readily available on the market. The production cost per ton of product is 16,000 to 20,000 yuan, while the market selling price is between 50,000 and 90,000 yuan, resulting in a net profit of 30,000 to 60,000 yuan. Therefore, this project requires low investment, yields quick results, and has a short capital recovery period. I now possess dozens of technologies for producing organic peroxide initiators, and I am eager to form joint ventures with like-minded individuals. There are limited slots available, so feel free to contact me; only serious inquiries will be considered. This technology is mature and reliable, ensures safe production, features advanced processes, requires a low investment of four to five million, and yields high profits. Peroxide initiators are used in polyacrylates, PE/PP, PVC, ABS, polystyrene, as well as in industries such as rubber, food, and cosmetics. It is a production sector characterized by technical monopolies, and the products produced are ones with high profits and high added value. We can provide a complete set of plant construction drawings, including those for the factory building, equipment, automated control systems, piping installations, as well as production technologies and management systems. If interested, please contact 022-23798807
The intermediate is good; contact QQ297936774
OP, the idea is good. I also graduated from a prestigious university with a degree in chemical engineering; it’s been five years now, and I have been involved in the design, construction, and renovation of several projects at my company. If you want to do it on your own, here’s my opinion: (1) First, you need to investigate the market demand for the product you intend to manufacture. You should understand its uses, the domestic demand for it, which manufacturers in the country are already producing it, and what their production capacity is, so as to determine whether it’s feasible to produce such a product. You must also consider the cost of raw materials and their price trends, along with other expenses, to determine what profit margin is available. (2) 5 million is only sufficient for small-scale projects in the chemical industry; medium-scale projects cannot be undertaken with such an amount. Typically, for medium-scale projects alone, the investment required for utility systems such as steam, cooling, and electricity consumption amounts to several million. (3) You must take all the necessary procedures and environmental considerations into account for the products you produce; environmental protection is given great importance in Chongqing these days. (4) I work in chemical engineering technology; actually, many of these technologies are not complicated and easy to acquire. You are just starting out now, and it’s impossible to do many things in a proper manner from a technical standpoint. When investing in equipment, instruments, pipes, etc., consideration should be given only to what is necessary for producing qualified products with a satisfactory yield; there is no need to aim for excessively high standards at the beginning. Starting a business is tough; wish you success! I also want to have my own business someday, but I’m still young.
Reply to 1# Liu Fengqiong: The investment is too small; it’s recommended to increase it
Reply to 5# Coolrush: The original poster’s suggestion is excellent; I agree
Reply to 2# kyzjc: Thank you so much!
Reply to 5# Coolrush: I’m extremely grateful for your advice, senior! It’s been very useful to me! I will examine each one individually! Starting a business is really difficult, especially these days; I’m very confused. But whether I succeed in the end or not, at least I can learn a great deal throughout this process, and that knowledge and experience are also valuable assets. We’re still young now; there’s still time to try anything~~~
Hehe, I think the poster’s source of funds must be their parents. If they want to start their own business, it’s advisable to work in a factory for a year or two first; by then they will be more experienced in dealing with various issues, and the risks will also be reduced significantly (just my opinion)
I suggest the poster try using BIT anti-mold agent; the profit is quite good. wwq2010310@163.com
