I would appreciate some guidance from professionals: Can the sum of the rated powers of the devices be considered as the apparent power? If not, then what is the specific connection between the installed capacity and the rated power of the equipment? (Apart from the power factor)

What the original poster means is the capacity of the electrical equipment. The capacity of electrical equipment must never be simply referred to as the equipment’s capacitance. 2. What is the power factor? There is no such term; only the power factor! First, we need to see what electrical equipment is available. The capacity of a transformer is expressed in VA, that is, it is based on apparent power as its capacity. Due to its capacitive load, a capacitor is measured in Var, which represents reactive power. Most other electrical devices are inductive loads, so what matters to us is their active power; therefore, the unit is W.
