Does SW6 calculate fixed-tube-sheet heat exchangers to distinguish between vertical and horizontal types? Especially when calculating expansion joints, are vertical and horizontal cases the same?
Regardless of vertical or horizontal type, the static pressure of the liquid column must be taken into account (which is presumably already considered here).
Vertical and horizontal expansion joints are different.
The calculation for SW6 is based on GB151 standards, without distinction between horizontal and vertical installations. When selecting expansion joints, the designer uses the various parameters provided by the equipment.
The calculation does not take into account whether it is in a horizontal or vertical position; however, the choice of expansion joint varies in such cases
