To calculate the theoretical number of theoretical plates using graphical methods in chemical engineering principles, one has to draw the diagrams themselves. I read that ASPEN can handle everything, and after reading \"Distillation design and control using ASPEN simulation\", I was very excited. However, in ASPEN 2006, I couldn’t find either the SEPARATION MANAGER nor the GRAPHICAL COLUMN DESIGN tools mentioned in the DISTIL tool. I would appreciate any guidance from everyone; thank you~
I also saw one or two similar questions on the forum, but I never managed to find the root cause. Who knows?
The homework assigned by the teacher was to draw diagrams; only the numbers for the theoretical tray were provided, with no drawings of the operating lines or anything else. Can’t ASPEN do that?
