This phenomenon occurs only occasionally, but lately it happens several times a day: the vibration level on the intake side of the turbine decreases while the vibration level on the exhaust side increases. That’s exactly what’s happening

The description is not very detailed. First, how is the 1-to-3 unit arrangement in your system? Second, is the vibration amplitude changing gradually or suddenly? Third, does the phase change as the vibration amplitude changes? Fourth, does the vacuum level change during the variation of the vibration amplitude in your unit? Fifth, when the exhaust end vibrates, does the vibration level of the drive machine connected to it change? (Remember, it does change – it may increase or decrease.) Lastly, how long has this unit of yours been in operation?
Reply to 6# wm1208: It’s generally the same, right? Booster – gearbox – turbine – air compressor... I think the situation with one unit serving three systems should be similar in this case. On the intake side and the exhaust side of the turbine, the vibration levels change slowly; it’s a gradual process, and the trend is quite clear. There’s no significant change in vacuum levels, and the steam quality can remain at 8.5–9.2 MPa. The unit’s operating time probably isn’t 8,000 hours yet; after two years, it would have been shut down for a long time...
