A question regarding the installation diagrams: In the new 2010 version of these installation diagrams, for the flow meters, there are only diagrams for differential pressure flow meters – no diagrams are provided for other types of flow meters. When creating such installation diagrams, should diagrams also be provided for non-differential pressure flow meters?
Are you referring to ultrasonic flowmeters, electromagnetic flowmeters, mass flowmeters, things like that? For this type, generally, no other materials are needed apart from the bolt washers; it doesn’t really matter whether they’re used or not. It’s purely a personal opinion.
Uh, yes. It’s good to include that, to indicate things like the flange diameter and grade. The construction company is also aware of this; at least they know how many there are, haha. The main reason is that these items don’t require the use of instruments to handle them, so they end up being useless.
It’s better to go out. This way, the construction party will also be clear about it!
