If I were young again, I would approach things with more perseverance, never giving up on anything just because it was difficult or troublesome. If we want light, we must overcome darkness. There is no sunshine until we overcome the darkness. Sometimes, perseverance can be as effective as talent. There are a few issues in certain parts; please refer to the correct answer. Additionally, 1) several people understood the meaning of “If we want light, we must conquer darkness” and handled it well. The standard answer is the literal translation; personally, I think both are acceptable. 2) “If I could go back to my childhood” is clearly a hypothetical statement; it uses the conditional structure “If I were a boy again.” If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often and never give up on anything just because it’s inconvenient. If we want light, we must overcome darkness. Perseverance can sometimes yield results equivalent to those of genius. As a proverb goes, “There are only two creatures that can climb the pyramids—the eagle and the snail.””

It’s so complicated; I can’t see it! !

After looking at the standard answer, I was utterly devastated~ They even failed to translate that subjunctive mood~ I haven’t studied English for several years now; almost all of what I learned back then has been forgotten
