HG21547-93: Gland plate, 8-character blind flange; maximum diameter of D600. For larger diameters, specialized mechanical design is required. However, at such a large size, an 8-character blind flange is not used – instead, a gland plate is employed.
If the size exceeds a certain limit, 8-character blind plates cannot be used, as they are not capable of bearing such heavy weights and are prone to breaking, posing a safety risk.
