Dear fellow sailors, what instruments are needed to set up a laboratory for instrumental analytical chemistry? I only need to analyze the elements in steel! I think a carbon-sulfur analyzer and ICP are needed, as well as some other instruments. I would appreciate it if everyone could share their suggestions. Thank you!

We mainly analyze the five major conventional elements (C, Mn, Si, S, P, Cr, Ni, Mo, V). I have a spectrometer at home, but it’s not a desktop model; the results are unstable and reports cannot be generated
