Temperature and water temperature are two different concepts; generally, continuously incoming wastewater can maintain a temperature of over 10 degrees. Low temperatures directly affect the denitrification efficiency. Wastewater with truly low temperatures is found in high-latitude regions, as well as in wastewater from marine fish processing. The others won’t be much lower.
In winter, when temperatures are low, steam or air is used to stir the water temperature during the wastewater treatment process in order to maintain it at an appropriate level.
