How do canned root valves provide support

Currently, valves with larger diameters are too heavy and require support; however, root valves for large tanks cannot be supported rigidly. Does anyone have any good methods for providing soft support?
We also have quite a number of storage tanks here. The root valves are mostly connected to the overflow ports at the top of the tanks via pipes, so no support is needed for those root valves.
Using spring brackets can achieve the effect you require.
The pre-tensioning force must not be greater than the weight; it serves no purpose in providing support, and it even causes faster damage!
Heavier valves should have supports of their own to provide backing. The technology of your valve manufacturer is quite ordinary.
