Regarding plate heat exchanger units.

Our plate heat exchanger unit has two circulation pumps and two make-up water pumps. There was such an incident some time ago. We used a make-up water pump to add water, but the pressure wouldn’t increase【There is water in the tank, and the pipes are not blocked】. The same thing happened when we used another pump; even when the butterfly valve behind the pump was closed, the pressure still didn’t rise【The components in the pipeline from the tank to behind the pump are: tank, pipes, flexible connectors, reducers, centrifugal pump, reducers, pressure gauge, check valve, butterfly valve, pipes, and finally, the connection between the pump and the expansion tank】. After some time, things improved without us realizing it. The technician said it might be due to overly narrow pipes or the pump itself. What other possible causes could there be for this problem?
This post was last edited by qlx9621215 on 2010-10-30 09:38. What type of swing check valve is being used? What is the diameter? Small diameters can easily get stuck. What is the head pressure of the make-up water pump?
Rotational speed: 2870 revolutions per minute; the check valve is of the butterfly type, with a diameter of 40
The diameter change should be installed after the check valve and butterfly valve; it seems there’s a problem here
