As the leader in the industry, has Guohong been able to operate its gasification and synthesis units smoothly since that accident?
I’m not sure if the accident you’re referring to is the one that happened on June 29, 2008 Since that accident, Guohong had the system restart operating on July 13, 2009. Since then, the system has repeatedly broken the long-term operation records and production records set since the plant’s establishment, achieving long-term operation with high productivity and efficiency. The current longest operating record is around 120 days, with the average load on the gasification furnace being around 120%. In August 2010, a new record was set for methanol production, with 50,380 tons produced in one month – the highest figure ever recorded since the plant’s establishment.
Guohong seems to be operating quite stably at the moment
