My principle is: fairness and justice. Those who make greater contributions receive greater rewards. I actively encourage newcomers to boost everyone’s enthusiasm for participation.
My principle is to regularly remove posts that lack technical depth; there’s no need to post content that can be found on Baidu, as everyone is too lazy to read it. Additionally, moderators should add a more prominent title in the menu bar, and ask users to search the forum first before posting, to see if there are already similar posts – so as to avoid discussing the same issue over and over again. Finally, there are some forum users who post requests for help and others reply to them, but they refuse to check those replies or give points to those who help. This is quite troublesome; in such cases, the moderators can send a message to the original poster to remind him to give points to those who have helped, so that the forum can remain active. If I were the moderator, I would make a plan for myself every day, setting aside two hours to go through the posts in this forum and help fellow users solve their problems, regardless of how simple or complex those problems might be. If I were the moderator, I would strive to acquire as much relevant expertise as possible to assist the people in this forum, enabling them to happily ask more questions and receive satisfactory answers promptly. After all, a moderator for HaiChuan should possess the qualifications of a technical instructor – being able to provide guidance, ask questions, and offer answers at any time. Only those who can do this can be considered qualified moderators; they should not simply follow what others say, nor use their position as moderators for personal gain. . . . . . If I were the moderator today, I would give out all the ratings allowed under the guidelines, and reward the best posts generously. A small personal suggestion: Nowadays, many questions come with hidden replies – you can’t see others’ answers unless you reply. I’ve encountered such questions in other forums; I’m not familiar with the topic but still want to know how it’s answered. However, replying takes up resources. If there are 100 people like me, it’s not feasible to reply to all 100 posts. I was thinking about whether it would be possible to enable hidden replies for a certain period of time; for example, after 1 day, 2 days, or 1 week, the post could become fully accessible, so people could read its content without having to reply. I think this would facilitate communication better, but I’m not sure if it’s feasible.
