Help: How to prevent hydrogen fires caused by leaks at the flange in the reduction zone of a reactor?

Hello everyone, how can we prevent fires caused by hydrogen leakage from the flanges in the reduction section of the CCR reactor in aromatic compounds processing units? Hydrogen leaks are not easy to detect. Can it be detected with an infrared thermometer after a fire breaks out? Please share your experiences, thank you
