There are already many industrial operations for propane dehydrogenation in China, but isobutane dehydrogenation has not yet been put into use there; it is said that Shandong Yuhuang plans to launch a 300,000-ton isobutane dehydrogenation project; Currently, UOP and Lummus technologies are mostly used for isobutane dehydrogenation abroad; is this technology available in China?
First of all, where are 300,000 tons of isobutane? It’s hard to find even 30,000 tons. Is there a way to import it? I’m also interested in knowing the product composition of isobutane dehydrogenation. Leaving the catalyst aside, what are the temperature and pressure conditions?
