It depends on the type of acid you want to produce; industrial acids are produced using process water, while high-purity acids are produced using pure water
The specific type of water to use should be determined based on the requirements of your product. If the requirements for the product are low and ordinary industrial hydrochloric acid is to be produced, then tap water will suffice ; If the product requirements are high, such as for the production of high-purity hydrochloric acid, then pure water must be used ; If high quality requirements for products are imposed, then high-purity water must be used.

I also would like to ask if there are any testing methods available to determine the impurities contained in hydrochloric acid produced by other processes, such as organic substances? Thank you!
